  Video freezes during playback in Timeline & Canvas window

  I’m using Final Cut Pro version 6.0.6. My media and sequence settings are identical as far as frame size, video rate, compressor and audio rate. The problem is that video playback of the Timeline in the Canvas window hangs up and freezes. Playback with Print to Video is fine. What could be causing this? Any suggestions?
