    Hi,

I have been doing some work with custom frame sizes (9:16)
In the Sequence settings > Video > Frame Size
    I have changed it to 1080 x 1920
This changes the Video previews to 608 x 1080

    1. Any idea why this is?
    2. This shouldn’t affect the aspect ratio, should it (I know 608 x 1080 is still 9:16)?

    Thank you.

It’s only for the previews. If you want full resolution previews then set the resolution to what you want.

    Thanks Dave.
It was more to do with the settings changing in Premiere without me asking it to. In the future I may be asked to make a film with an unusual aspect ratio and I’m wondering if the video display dimensions alter how it appears.
Does no one else have this issue?
    Thanks.
