Can someone help me with the right export settings in SVP11 to create a instagram compatible video clip. I have tried everything and I only get audio on playback with a single frozen frame(when viewed on my tablet, web browser and facebook)

Video clip is less than 15 seconds and I see no reason it shouldn’t be working.

Here is a link to what I am experiencing:

Here are the setting I used

I have tried a bunch of other setting too

Have you tried the Sony AVC format?

I see that you’re using a Sony Table template. Have you tried the “Internet HD 720p” or “Internet HD 1080p” templates under MainConcept AVC? Those are more generic templates for Internet delivery.

I came across the following tips on How to create professional looking video previews on instagram that may be of some help. Good luck with it.

How to create your own advanced Instagram video preview with text/images/motion:

    1. 1Edit together your 14 second sequence on a custom 640×640 timeline.
    2. Add text, photos or a video wrapper to your timeline.
    3. Export the video at 640×640 resolution, .MOV file format and H.264 compression.
    4. Place the video file in your dropbox folder or email yourself the file.
    5. Save the video file inside dropbox or your Mail app to your camera roll.
    6. Upload video to Instagram.

How to create your own basic Instagram video preview with simple white/black bars:

    1. Edit together your 14 second sequence on a 16×9 aspect ratio timeline.
    2. Export the video at native resolution, .MOV file format and H.264 compression.
    3. Place the video file in your dropbox folder or email yourself the file.
    4. Save the video file inside dropbox or your Mail app to your camera roll.
    5. Edit video within SquareadyV app (iOS) or Video Squarer (Android)

[Mike Kujbida] “3. Export the video at 640×640 resolution, .MOV file format and H.264 compression.”

Ahh… so Instagram uses square video. Is this why my iPhone has a “square” setting which I touched by accident and took horrible square pictures that I thought were going to be widescreen! Argh!!!

Follow Mike’s advice. You’ll need to make a custom template for Instagram because none of the built-in templates will be square.
