Video filters problem
Greetings,
I have FCS 2. I recently downloaded and installed a trial version of FxFactory Pro and something rather bizarre has happened: The real-time FX plug-ins that come with Final Cut Pro are no longer real time…in fact I can’t even access them from the menu bar. If I go to the Effects menu and go down to video filters or transitions and pick a category, the effects show up as inactive gray. I can drag the fx and transitions I want from the Effects tab in the browser but they are no longer real-time. They need to be rendered, even a simple cross-dissolve. I uninstalled FxFactory but the problem persists.
What have I done? How can it be solved? Why are we here?
