Video Files
I shot several hours of video footage and would like to share it all with someone out of state. I would like to leave it in a format that will allow them to edit the raw footage. I have FC express and have exported to Quicktime files. Some of the files are the entire 1 hour tape Is there a way to get the raw files on one or more DVDs. I have Toast 7.0 and can compress to make a DVD but im not sure if you can edit VOB files. Is there a better way to do this or do I need to break up the large Quicktime files into smaller ones and then export?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

An Hour of DV is about 12 GB… so if you have several hours… that’s 60 – 100 GB…. Burning DVDs is impractical…. and VERY time-consuming. You are better off going to ht e store and picking up a slae FireWire drive to transfer the footage.
