Video File with No Extension
I have been given a video file from a company that has no extention. As a result, I can’t tell what kind of file it is. I’ve tried tacking on different extensions, like .mov, .avi, .mpg, .wma, but with no success. At times, I get a warning that says, “The Movie File Sequence 1-FIN-00000004 cannot be found. Without this file the movie cannot play properly.” Not sure what that means. That seems to only happen when I give it a .mov extention. So, is there a program out there, or some other way for me to figure out what this file is. Thanks very much.
