video export encoding 8 bit uncompressed to dvdsp
Hi There. I always struggle with end quality from DVDSP after export from FCP Studio. I normally export sequences as quicktime movies without using compressor settings. What is the best export method from FCP to encode in DVDSP? I spend a lot of money shooting from either PD170 or VX2100 quality is a problem…

Export self contained QT files…do not recompress. Then take that into COMPRESSOR, and use the DVD Best Quality presets in there. Then take that into DVD SP. Better quality than DVD SP doing the encode.
