So I just rendered out a video out of Premiere – 46 min long, 3,59 GB.

I run it through Handbrake, expecting miracles (as it usually performs very well) but only got down to 1,13GB.

This got me thinking… how are movies actually encoded ? When I have the whole 100 min film in 700mb ?

And how do I get my file smaller ?
It surprised me, why this time it’s only a reduction of about 1/3.. when normally I get at least 1/10 of the size.
