    If the dropout is just the one frame or field, then the repair plugins from CHV has a dropout fixer. Basically it lets you select a field from a previous or post frame and insert it in a defined area.

    I believe Digital Heaven have a similar dropout fixer plugin too.

    Or you can do the same thing manually.

    Select a clean frame from 1 or 2 frames before or after lay it on top of the bad frame and do a softedge crop around the bad video. then just reposition the good frame as needed.

    I use DH_Dropout from Digital Heaven. With it you can fix problems on just one field and it has soft edge controls as well as others that allow you to make perfect fixes.
