Activity Forums Apple Final Cut Pro Video doesn’t play in final cut pro x!

    I experienced with an older FCPX install.
    Caused by meddling with the QT clip in the Event folder in After Effects.
    Something got weird with the files and prevented FCPX from reading them.
    Fixed with 10.0.2 upgrade.

    I’d suggest looking at the clip’s info in FCPX and checking that FCPX thinks the clips are where they actually are. I’d also try re-linking the clips from within FCPX. if all else fails, I’d re-encode one of the clips and see if it’s just something weird in the original transcoding to ProRes.
