  • Video color changes in split screen

    Hi,
I am having some trouble and would greatly appreciate it if someone was able to help out.

I am wanting to have two videos side by side ie. horizontally.
I have done that successfully and the two videos play next to each other. However, the video on the bottom video track, so the video that shows on the right of the screen has changed color.
I had put fx on so all the videos look sort of blue. But when put next to each other the video on the underlying video track comes out as this off gold/orange.
If I move the video that shows as gold back to the top video track it displays blue as normal. It’s only when I move it underneath the first video to get it to split screen that it changes color.

I have watched about 20 tutorials and no one else seems to have this problem. Maybe it’s because the ones I watched didn’t have fx on them?

    Please help, many thanks.

Make sure both video tracks are set to Source Alpha.

Did you apply the color effects to the TRACK or to the individual EVENTS? If you applied track-level effects, then you need to duplicate these effects on the second track too.

    Thanks for the replies guys,
However, both video tracks are set to alpha as the source but the video on the track underneath is still changing color.

@Matt, the videos have the fx added to each of the events, not the track. Both videos play fine when on the top track but then whichever video I put underneath the top video changes color.

Any more ideas as to what I might be doing wrong … ? Would a print screen help …

    Thanks again
