    Hi All,

I have a 7 second video clip that I want to stay on screen as a static background once it has finished playing. what’s the easiest way of doing this?

    Greg.

Apply Time Remapping then extend the out point of the layer. The last frame will be frozen.

Steve’s right, that’s a good way… I like to go to the frame that I want to remain, export that single frame as an image (I usually just use the PSD, but that’s up to you), then drop it back in to the timeline instead, but like most apps, there are a number of ways to achieve the same result.

Thanks Steve, this method actually gives me even more control as I can now start and stop it as I please, which gives me more use of the clip.

Thanks Rhett, I’d just this way as your reply came in. I’ve gone for Steve’s solution as it gives me even more control. Cheers.
