Video Boarder In 2.0
We just started using Adobe Premiere 2.0, and my question is along the lines of when I crop a piece of video, how do I add a boarder to that cropped video?
Any solutions would be of great help.

There are a few ways. If you just want a solid color, use Clip instead of Crop. You can choose the fill color.
Otherwise, put the clip in a new sequence on track two, crop it, and put your border on track one. It can be a texture or whatever you want. Then use that sequence like a clip, nesting it in other sequences.
Or, you can put the border over the clip if you made it in the titler or in Photoshop so that it has an alpha channel in the center. I have a few frames on my web site – https://www.stevengotz.com/templates.htm

I agree that there should be a border effect – just like in the old DVE units we had in our edit bays.
I guess that’s another feature request I will suggest.
