    Hi everyone,

I’m facing a Audio Video sync problem recently after upgrade our edit panels. the system i’m using is Mac Pro 2023 M2 ULTRA 64 GB unified memory. I have 2 Aja card using in two different 2023 Mac Pro with same configuration. One is Aja LHe internal and another is IoX3 external on Thunderbolt 4. All Aja’s are in latest firmware and drivers. Also using latest update and version of FCPX for editing. All my projects are in H.264 1080p 25 frame or ProRes4444 XQ 1080p 25 frame. Both System Monitor are 27” LG 4K monitor.

In both cases when my editors are editing and simultaneously monitoring colour and audio they found there is 6-10 frame gaps in preview. Audio comes first. But in FCPX preview window no gap with audio. Only way I can sync audio and Video in preview monitor via Aja card (both LHe and IoX3) to use both preview monitor speaker. Which is the worst audio possible, even worst then smartphone.

    Scenario 1:

With LHe card I’m using 24 inch professional HP 24” for preview via mini HDMI to HDMI and System speaker for audio. I tried SDI out from Aja LHe same things Happened. (For temporary, I solve this by take HP 24” preview from system HDMI port and set as extended monitor and in FCPX set as A/V device) But I really want to use Aja for capture SDI signal and preview for colour grading.

    Scenario 2:

With IoX3 I’m using Konavision 19” SDI studio monitor and JBL studio monitor speakers in IoX3 AUX port. With SDI studio monitor I tried with all Aja SDI out and via HDMI too. But no luck so far still have 10 frame gap. (For temporary, I solve this by take Konavision from system HDMI port and set as extended monitor and in FCPX set as A/V device)
