  • Video & audio now ‘locked’ together in Vegas 7.0e?

I just upgraded to Vegas 7.0e after using 6.0b for a while there.. Have just been too lazy to upgrade 🙂

Anyway, In earlier versions of vegas you were able to delete the audio track and the video track would remain.

I just noticed that in 7.0e the tracks are locked together (as they should be I suppose) and when I delete the audio track it also deletes the video track.

I have to ‘remove from group’ to be able to delete one or the other.

Problem is I got used to it the way it used to be and would like to know if it’s possible to have it the old way where I can simply delete an audio ot video track without having to un group it manually.

There are two ways of doing this.
#1 is to click the Ignore Event Grouping (Ctrl + Shift + U) icon on the toolbar.
#2 is Options- Preferences – Editing and deselect Cut, copy and delete grouped events.
