    Hello All,

I am going to start a project that uses video and stills. The video is 1280×720 HD. I plan to output to
DVD (so no “HD”, but it will be 16×9 aspect ratio). Can I combine video and still images in an FCP sequence? I have worked with video only, and still images only, etc. Any tips on this will be helpful.

    Thanks,

    eric

    Yes, of course you can.

    Prep your stills b/4 importing.
Use RGB, 72 dpi, about 2000pixels on the long side if you want to create moves on them. Make them PNG or tif but can also use jpeg, psd.

    Capture in HD
    Edit in HD
Export “Current Settings” making a ref file.
Drop the ref file into Compressor choose NTSC DVD SD 16X9
