video and audio images not showing on timeline
Please help! I just got Vegas Movie Studio 9 Platinum. At first the events I dropped onto the timeline showed up fine as they should. But now suddenly the clips show up but they are blank — ie, no thumbnails or preview clips are showing. And no waveforms are showing for audio clips. I don’t think I clicked anything or changed any settings. What am I doing wrong? I’ve restarted the program, open new projects, even restarted my computer. But still, no images show up in the timeline anymore. I can still see my clips in the video preview but not on the timeline. Help! Thanks!

Try holding Control+Shift and restart Vegas. It will reset evrything to factory default. But you will lose any custom preferences you have made.

Ctrl+Shift and Restarted Vegas. Nothing Happened!

I had the same problem and restarting Sony Vegas didn’t work for me.
But later I found out that somehow I pressed Mute on the video track ????
When I dismuted it, the image came back and the problem was solved! ????
