This will seem like a really dumb question since I’ve usedg Vegas since 4.0.
When vidcap comes up, there is a lot of stuff I’ve captured. Is it OK to nuke that stuff as it seems it will be taking up hard drive space.
    Is that a correct assumption.
I apologize for my lack of knowledge and intuition in the area of computers-math etc.
The answer will be apparent to most forum members. And I thank you for your your help.

As long as you keep saving or reopening the same VidCap file, you will just keep adding to its log of captured clips. If you have an image instead of the generic filmstrip icon, the media is still on your drive.

As long as you save the vidcap file or have used the files in a saved Vegas project, you can always recapture your footage (assuming you still have the tapes).
