Vidcap 6 and Sorenson Squeeze 6
I recently upgraded to Sorenson Squeeze 6.
Then i started having problems capturing video in Vegas w/Vidcap 6.
I tried uninstalling DIVX, still problems.
Then i uninstalled Squeeze 6 and voila – capture works again.
To verify I installed squeeze 6 again and sure enough – vidcap broken again.
I am using winxp.
Anyone aware of this problem and is there a way, settings or something to allow Squeeze 6 play nicely w/Vegas?

I don’t use Squeeze but I would definitely take this up with Sorenson since Vidcap hasn’t beet changed since Vegas 6! (hence the name vidcap60.exe) I would appear that Sorenson is the one at fault here and needs to fix this application to not break others.

yeah i submitted a ticket w/their support.
very reproduceable by uninstalling/reinstalling sorenson 6
