I am retired from mostly wedding productions. When I first started, I produced VHS tapes, then DVD, BR. A friend of mine has some family VHS tapes that she wants me to capture on my computer, edit, then produce a DVD. Can a VHS capture card be used on a fairly new PC? Can such a card be purchased these days? I still have my old Super VHS player. I still have Vegas Pro 12. Thanks! Jim Murphy

To Capture AV / Analog Video sources easily these days, you can search AV USB in amazon:

(Can’t give any link as the post detected as spam)

There are many options of choices – just select that has ‘electronic part’ in the middle of the cable and read the reviews first.

To capture, OBS can work with device that is known as ‘USB video device’ or something (I forgot the exact name).

Setiawan, thanks for the tip. I found some items at Amazon. Have you used this before?
