  • VGA frame rate (how to avoid stuttering?)

    Hi all,

I usually work in broadcast video (PAL 720×576 25fps/interlaced) which gives me very smooth results when rendering large scrolling type for example.

For an install the client has setup LCD panels with VGA inputs. These will be driven by mac mini’s at 800×600 res. I need to recreate everything at this resolution, but i’m not sure on the best frame rate? I have tried to create comps at 800×600 25fps but when played back they stutter / jitter a lot.

I really need to fix this asap. How can I get smooth motion?

Any help would be much appreciated….

    Thx
