Hello Everybody, I’m new on this Resolve world, try switching from Apple color, and evaluating the light version of resolve.

One thing I notice is that there are not VFX included, like adding grain, or bleach bypass, etc, like the presets we have in color, that some times save lot of time.

Is there are plugins or additional software we can buy?

We are trying to create a black promist fx and and grain to a 30 minute piece.

Could some one point me in the right direction

No plugins, no FX, just Color.

Want grain? Go buy CineGrain. It looks awesome. Place the clips on track 2 and use a composite mode to blend it over the footage.

Bleach bypass can’t be done in the lite version because it needs at least three nodes. But once you’ve made that, you can save it as a power grade, and easily use it over and over again in other projects.
