very weird issue with avid quictime export
hello everyone… it’s me again…
When I export any kind of quicktime from avid xpress pro HD ( windows xp pro ), they turn out extremely bright.
I’m going crazy!Please note:
1 Until one week ago everything was working perfectly and I have not changed anything on the system since then.
2 The export settings on avid are perfectly correct as I used them one week ago.
3 I have already deleted and re-installed avid two times and and also i reinstalled four different versions of quicktime,
from 6.3 to 7.1.
NO way to solve the problem.5 I also went back to a previous operating system recovery point. Nothing changed.
6 After effects and premiere export perfect quicktimes, the problem is only between avid and quicktime.
7 colors and brightness on exported avi / jpeg / tiff / dv stream / and all the rest are perfect.
The problem only exists on quicktime.
But then again, I take one of the good files I exported a week ago and I open it with quicktime and re-export it with the same codec,
the image is perfect, so this means that quicktime export engine by itself is ok.The problem is FROM avid… and it happened out of the blue…
PLease…please… somebody help me…before i format my pc….
