Hiya guys, I really need your help here.

    This is my situation:

    *Premiere CS6 for Editing
*Footages shot from an Exilim for Video and..
*A Blue Yeti Microphone for Audio

The Sequences are 29,97fps, and the same goes for video and audio. Somehow, the AUDIO from the microphone during time unsynch itself ALWAYS more, as if it drops frames or something.

I can’t seem to fix this, am I missing something? Any idea?

I know it is wrong to say that the audio is “at 29,97”, but it for example does not warn me that its settings are different when I try to put it in a 30fps sequence, so it probably isn’t the problem?

i think i’m experimenting the same problem.

The footage was shot from a R3D Scarllet i’m not sure what kind of mic the use for the audio.

But the thing is, that the footage have a different speed so, i can’t sync.

Lets say the video is 2min, and the audio is 1:30. when i try to sync with the Clapper-board it’s get out of sync in a pretty short time.

I’m sure thats the audio file, i have try trying to convert the .r3d 24fps to a .mov DxNHD 29,97fps but of course nothing happens.

I have tried to create the sequence from the audio, and from the footage (failed again).
I tried other software like Red Cinema and AE, still the same.

I tried to change the actual video speed to the audio’s lenght, and the sync last a little longer to get off the rail ( but failed).

So i came here to see if someone could help me out, and i find your post, its kind of look similar to mine. so i hope both can solve our problems! cheers! and lets pray for a distance deadline

I don’t know if this could be relevant but viewing the metadata from the R3D, i notice that the frame rate says 24, but the recorded frame rate is 30. so there is a chance that the audio was recorded at 30 with the video but while compressing it change to 24 somehow. ( i didn’t wanted to sound like a noob saying that theory but if can help to solve our problems it worth mention).
