    Hello there!

As I stated on the advanced forum, I’ve just landed a professional animation job. Vegas is my main tool, and without the help received on this forum in the past I would be utterly stuck. So thankyou, and I’m hoping you can help me sort this rather irritating problem I’ve been having!

Basically, I create animated scenes by compositing animated gifs of different face parts onto a face + background using the chroma key tool. So, eyes blinking, eyebrows moving and mouth movements etc are all separate animations, slapped together using the chroma keyer (this makes timing blinks and subtle face movements really easy). However, I’m getting a visible jagged line around the edges of my chroma bits. And this is happening all the time.

In short, this image sums it up: https://i.imgur.com/Rn578.jpg

This current job will be shown on HD cinema screens, where these “join lines” are *really* noticeable, so I must find a way to eliminate them!
Could anyone assist? I have no idea what else to try at this point. My boss is frequently pointing out that my footage has these lines whenever someone blinks, etc.

If anyone would like to very quickly try pasting the elements into their Vegas and seeing how it looks on your end, I’ve placed them here for any good Samaritans to have a fiddle with:

All of my Vegas issues in the past have had very simple fixes when I’ve asked here. Usually just a case of “go here and untick this box.” I’m hoping this is something similar, as I am coming under some pressure from my employers to switch to Final Cut (which they are familiar with), but I’ve used Vegas for years, am very comfortable with it, and would like to continue the way I’ve been going without having to learn an entirely new program!

    Thanks in advance as always!
