VERY basic question (from a C4D complete novice). Apologies.

Interestingly – I have just installed my installer file from Maxon onto another Macbook and….same issue. No projection.

So I am assuming now, that there is an issue with this latest release in terms of compatibility in some way.

Also – I checked, and the “Demo” version of the software previously installed does not have this issue, and the projection detailing the viewport names displays just fine.

In looking at the image from your second message, where you have all the settings checked on, you should not only have Projection displayed but many other ones (camera, frame, grid spacing, etc.). Some of them wouldn’t show because there are no objects in the scene, but it’s not just Projection that is missing, so there is definitely something odd going on.

I hope you can get it sorted out.
