very basic quastion – please check.
hey,
when i start editing in vegas i get this problem im not used to,its not a problem but its a problem for me
anyway,if i added some track and started playing it using “space” and all works now i also press space to stop playing and the cursor or whatever its called goes back to the point i started playing from and not the place i stopped..iv searched in options/etc maybee im looking in the wrong place or doing something wrongthanks in advance..

Go to Options-Preferences and place check in Make Spacebar & F12 Play-Pause instead of PlayStop

Thanks Terry. That always bothered me also. That’s why I keep watching this forum.

The space bar resetting the play point back to where you started is a very handy feature. Just get in the habit of stopping playback with the enter key if you want the cursor to stay where it is. Eneter will also start playback.
