    When i open a movie, and play it, the quality is very bad, a made a movie with a screenrecorder, which have a very nice quality when i play it in windows media player. But if when i open it with vegas, there are all strange collers when i move my mouse or window.

    PLZ HEPL!

    Which codec is used to create the avi? DivX? Vegas doesn’t like DivX so much.

    First, you should set your project properties to match your source. For example, if your screen capture is 1024×768 you should change your project to match. Just use the Match Media button in the Project Properties window. Also when you preview make sure that you are previewing in Best Full if you want to see the real quality. As Theo said, the codec will also affect quality.
