Version Info
Way back in 2006 I was using PI v3 or v3. something.
Have not used it since.
Now I find myself needing to use it.
I notice that the current version is still 3 or 3.?
Has any thing changed?
Will my old version run on WIN7?Thanks

Greg — most likely you won’t be able to activate that old version, as we’ve updated licensing to something that is more reliable (I hope that’s what people have found). We’re still on version 3.x, but you may need to download the latest update to get it working on Win 7. You could just try and see what happens, then download the update if needed from: https://www.genarts.com/support/downloads/particleillusion/standalone
If you do that you’ll need to contact support at genarts dot com though for a new serial number.
Oh, and download the bazillions of emitters that have been released since you last used it. 🙂
(On that note, I’ve got a new batch ready to release that many of you will be happy about!)
