Verint Multimedia
Hey guys, so I have 4 wav files that need to be brought into FCP. These files will only work on a pc once Verint Multimedia has been installed (it was an .exe on a disc I received). The file will also only play in windows media player, not vlc, not iTunes, not anything. Has anyone ever heard of this before or is there a way to take this seemingly windows formatted file and create something that’s usable on a mac? Thanks in advance.

A quick Google search indicates they are a proprietary wavlet format, not a wav file. You will need their software to open these files. If you can get the file to play in media player, can you export as a wav or aif file?
At a pinch can you just patch the audio output from the PC into the Mac and re-record the audio?

Hi Michael thanks for the response. I h aven’t had much luck exporting from windows media player and we tried to patch the pc into a deck but the pc is very old and stutters when it plays down. I think this is the solution we are going for and hopefully with a faster pc it will work. Thank you again.
