Velocity envelopes in version 9.0?
Hello everyone,
I’m running Vegas v.9.0 (build 30), and cannot find any velocity envelope. I’ve seen it used in to tutorials, but in my version the option simply isn’t there. When I select to insert video envelopes, the only two options are “track composite level” and “track fade to color.” I can’t insert a velocity envelope through the right-click mouse menu, either.
How do I insert a velocity envelope in this version?

First make sure that you have the Vegas Pro version not a Studio version. I don’t think the Studio version has velocity envelopes.
Then make sure that an event is highlighted. If you don’t highlight (select) an event the velocity envelope is greyed out. -
Thanks, I wasn’t aware that it wasn’t supposed to be included in the Sony Vegas Studio edition. I’ll have to make due without it for now.

Oh I have this problem too!
I find the menus of Vegas studio to be cluttered with esoteric options and yet lacking in essential basic facilities and I’m very disappointed with this product 🙁
