Velocity Envelope?
I dont get velocity envelopes?
someone kindly suggested it as a way to speed up/slow down videos beyond the amount you can do on the timeline.
But when the Velocity line is dragged up it simply plays the video in frames and the sound doesn’t match the video on screen. It also plays the video again
all i really want is to speed up a video without jumpy effects (like in movie maker) and it to run smoothly matching the sound with limits beyond the timeline.

In your other post you didn’t say that you wanted to speed up the sound as well. As you have seen, Velocity Envelopes only work on the video. You will have to nest your event in another project to continue to stretch it.
