  Velocity Envelope mess

  Hi there,

  I know using Envelope won’t shorten or lengthen the duration of the selected chunk. What I don’t understand at all why there’s NO ANY hotkey (pressing down CTRL or something) to make this happen?

  I finally finished to cut and edit my movie from a serious amount of pieces. It took 50 minutes. Now I want to set the speed and I should use the velocity envelope tool because the “drag right edge and move” doesn’t support speed span steppings. I need different speeds even in one chunk. So whatever I do if I set the envelope line it will mess the end of the piece (even if they all grouped up) so I have to re-cut the whole movie again? Basically I just wasted all my editing work here then?

  Or there’s any workaround?
