Vegas6 + Decklink Extreme Betacam capture problems
hi,
i use Vegas 6.0 and Blackmagic decklink extreme.
When I capture material useing Betacam deck, there is no sync with audio.
And offset is not constant, it can differ everytime.
It doesn’t matter if I use batch capture or manual capture.
Sometimes offset is 20 or even 30 frames if i batch capturing many pieces.
First pieces will be withaout offset.
And each next piece will be with increasing offset.
The last one will be with biggest offset.
Any ideas where is the problem?
I use dual core processor, 2 GB RAM, four 7200rpm drives with raid 1.0By the way maybe someone knows anything about update for Vegas and Blackmagic decklink.

Make sure you are following the Decklink capture instructions as outlined at:
https://www.blackmagic-design.com/support/detail.asp?techID=105
If you are following these instructions and still having a problem it would be best to contact Blackmagic to try and trouble shoot the problem.

With Vegas 6, you have to use the qualified driver 4.8.1. SDI capture only is supported. If you capturing audio/video other than over sdi (ie analog) you’ll likeliy have problems.
You might try capturing with the Decklink standlone applet- that may work better in the analog scenario.
