vegas won’t recognize sony trv-900
In the vegas software, but it will with external capture. Wonder why?

Because the “Internal” capture is for HDV and the “External” capture is for DV. Since the TRV-900 is a DV camera, it requires the External capture. Only HDV cameras use the Internal capture.
