    Vegas vs PrePro question on render speed

    Am I correct or do I have a setting off in vegas Pro 12. I can take the same exact clip in PrePro 5.5 vs Vegas 12 use the same Plugin Newblue Chroma all things and setting being equal.
    But Adobe renders MUCH Faster Than Vegas, I mean much faster.
    Is there a setting or is it the programs it self?

    I had way rather edit in vegas but rendering is way slow.
    Any Help or idea – reason why?

    Probably nothing is off in Vegas Pro, its a situation where
    Premiere Pro maybe using your system resources, GPU etc more
    efficiently than Vegas.
    Vegas has some way to go in that area.

    I agree with Steve 110%. Premier’s Mercury ‘stuff’ is pretty slick- and powerful!

    Hope Vegas addresses these fine tuning options in future versions
    quickly and don’t get left too far in the dust!
