My project is 720×480, but nomatter how big I make the video previewe pane, the preview display size maxes out at 655×480. This is causing me huge headches because I can’t accurately frame all of my still images that I’m panning and zooming on.

The preview shows letterboxing, but I can’t trust it because the aspect doesn’t match the project aspect. I don’t care if the preview window is smaller, but it has to match the aspect of the project. Help please!

    Thanks

Your project is 720×480 with a Pixel Aspect Ratio (PAR) of 0.9091 and 0.9091 x 720 = 655 in square pixels (1.0) so 655×480 PAR 1.0 is the same as 720×480 PAR 0.9091. Since your PC display only has square pixels (only TV’s have non-square pixels) you can trust 655×480 to be accurate for your project and it will look correct when displayed on a TV.
