Vegas versus FCP
A friend of mine does a monthly program, 90 mins long, 2 cameras, lower thirds and full page graphics, and edited on Final Cut Pro.
He has become busy, and aked me to take over the monthly edit. From my limited knowledge of FCP, I was pretty sure it would be quicker on Vegas.
His client sat with me today, to review the rough edit. He couldn’t believe how fast it was to change graphics (no rendering) and how easy it was to line up clips, with the ‘blue line’.
Edit finished in record time.
Not sure the client will want to go back to FCP.
But I guess we knew that already.
