    Hi,
In developing a slide show using Vegas, I kept re-saving the .veg using different names as I went along.
Somewhere in my starting attempts, I must have used a particular picture file (I have its name & details), which I removed from the timeline in later .veg versions.
However, every time I open the newer .veg versions, up comes an annoying dialog box: “The following file cannot be found….” and the choices for action are not satisfactory. It refers to this picture. I cannot remember what “replaced it” which is one of the choices, and there is no choice given to “just forget it and don’t bother me again,” so to speak. All I can do is to skip it and all is well; but the dialog box with that “missing” picture shows up on the next version of the veg, and so on.
It’s annoying, and so the question is: What can I do to eliminate this unwanted picture file from showing up, and the dialog box as well?
    Thank you,

    John A

Delete picture from project media. Or else choose specify new location and browse to that picture.

    That did it!
    Thank you very much.
