Vegas to DVD
Hi…
I don’t really know if I should post the question in here, but I think it’s somewhat related. I edit my video and stuff using vegas and I try to put in DVD. I don’t know why, but when I transfer it to dvd using Ulead Movie factory and using Ulead-DVD option, the result of the dvd is WEIRDDD…
The quality is good but the movement cannot be smooth/fluid. the movement is kinda shaky, looks like there’s some static.
I hope you understand what I mean.
can anyone help me with this? Is it something to do with the edited file from vegas or the settings of the ulead?Thank you

Hard to say without knowing more details.
For example, WHICH version of Vegas are you using? (The full version allows complete customization of the MPEG2 settings)
How long is the video?
Is ULead recompressing the MPEG2?
Did you try going out to DV-AVI and letting Ulead compress to MPEG2?
Did you try using DVD Architect?
Too many variables still left unanswered…

I am using Vegas 6.0d. It’s a 55 minutes long video and it’s still in DV-AVI format. I think that Ulead automatically convert it into mpeg-2 format, because when I drag the 12 GB the dv-avi video it only takes 4.3 GB in ulead display.
DO you think I should try to convert it to mpeg-2 using vegas?
