Vegas takes forever to create a frame grab
Whenever I try and grab a still frame from my timeline Vegas lags big time. The preview window freezes up for a good 30 seconds before coming back. When I go to the folder where the image is saved to, it just shows a generic icon for the 30 seconds until the thumbnail appears. Using this exact computer, it used to be instantaneous. I’d click the save button from the preview window I could easily capture another frame. This lag is making workflow very difficult. Any idea son what might be causing this?

I gather you’re clicking the floppy icon over the preview window. Mine has always been instantly done. You can try resetting Vegas to factory. You won’t loose your presets you made by doing this. Hold down Ctrl and Shift while launching Vegas and click yes when the reset prompt comes up.
