Vegas Studio 12. Volume envelopes disappeared.
I have just brought a Vegas 11 project into Vegas 12 on Win 64, new computer, twin screens. I am not sure if that was the cause or when it happened. If I right click and ask to insert/remove envelopes, then I see that Volume (the one I have done already) is ticked, as if the envelope is there….but it’s not. This is on all audio tracks.
At the top of each track, at intervals, is a little blue oblong. Hovering over this says “gain is 0dB” and that is the only track volume info I have.
What now? Any help appreciated.

S’OK. Somehow (and as usual I have no idea how) I had asked to see Pan envelopes, rather than volume.

Also, pressing the “V” key will cause the Volume envelope to show and hide.

AHAH! THAT would explain it. I did not realise it was a one-key wonder.
I am working with a horrid little keyboard waiting for a real-live one to be delivered.

Yeah there is a fine line between some of the arcane three-key stuff and a one-key change.
Anyway as I say glad it gets you too, because then you could ID it for me fast! 😀
