For those who are curious about rendering time and quantity of video tracks, here’s my test:
Sample: 1 minute music video clip with 1 stereo audio track.NO plugins.
Rendering format:
Sony AVC Mp4
High definition (1280×720)Frame rate: 29.970(NTSC)
Field order: None(progressive scan)
Pixel aspect ratio: 1.0000
Bit rate(bps): 4,000,000
Encode mode: automaticAudio format: AAC
Sample rate: 48,000
Bit rate(bps): 512,000
Audio coding mode: StereoRendering time = 4,10
Rendering time with more 50 empty video tracks = 5,46
As John and Steve said, empty video tracks do change rendering time.
In my case that difference will only bother me with medias above a hour.We have so much time and so little to do! / Willy Wonka
