Vegas RED FRAMES
In my lastest project, I’m getting loads and loads of RED FRAMES in my Project Media and Story Board. They SEEM to go away, but reappear at the same 20 minute spot ALL THE TIME…HELP!
I’ve worked on a project and all of a sudden am seeing RED FRAMES in the Timeline AND Project Media then says Off-Line when I reach the same spot in the timeline. Then ,nearly every scene turns RED! Any help please?

For ten years I swore and still do by the Casablanca editing system, except for corrupted frames that would force a project to be LOST, that’s right, LOST, after a week of working on it! Happily, I thought the Vegas would never replicate what the AVIO did, but sure enough, that was it, a corrupted amount of frames, just like the Avio!!! I found the scene where the project STOPPED during playback, and scrubbed the one minute scene, and sure enough, THERE was the RED Frame! I deleted the scene AND file from the Project Media and now the project is fine! (Maybe I’ll capture the same scene and keep my fingers crossed it doesn’t happen again, but I’m making a few DVDs first.) By the way, the other responses posted did not correct the problem, only finding the bad frames corrected my problem with RED FRAMES.
