    Vegas Project to FCP

    Hi

    Just out of curiosity, is there a way to exchange a project between Vegas and FCP? I’m collaborating with a fellow on a project right now using my MBP and Final Cut Express. However I know Vegas much better and could shorten my workflow time considerably.

    I see in the ‘save-as’ dialog there’s a Edit Protocol Compliant AAF File (*.aaf). What is this?

    Hi,

    Theoretically, it is Advanced Authoring Format.

    Give it a try.
    However, it surely doeas not work between Vegas and Edius: Edius imports a Vegas saved AAF as an empty project.
