Vegas pro9 fails to open timeline
I restarted a project and nothing appeared in the timeline window… no tracks, no track headers, no events… completely blank. If I clicked in the timline area and pressed the spacebar to play, the project played!
I tried adding a track but the only option was for an audio track, not video. Thumbnails in the project media window were blank, and although could be double-clicked to place in the trimmer, it too was blank but exhibited the same invisible play characteristic.
I then copied the whole folder of clips and veg files to another drive and opened the project from there.. and all was normal, but after saving and closing I re-opened it to the same problem.

Had that once ..all i did was just run the check disk utility
on the problem drive to fix file errors etc. and restart and
everything was fine.Steve Rhoden

Thanks. I tried your suggestion on both disks. Unfortunately no disk errors.
