Vegas Pro -Video completely looses focus after being added to the timeline
Hello.
I have this never before encountered problem that i don’t know how to fix.So: I start a new project and just add the video i need. Immediately the preview window (which is set to Best (full)) goes extremely out of focus.
I rendered a tiny bit to see if it affects the output and it does, it is as blurry as the preview.
I made a short movie a while ago using videos filmed with my phone. Everything was great and worked as it should. But now, using the clips filmed with the same phone make my eyes tear up. I didn’t fiddle with the default settings then and I didn’t now.What is going on??? How do I fix this?

Yeah, I agree! What is going on. Need more information. Just for starters, your Settings, the full info on your media, had you used any FXing.?

If by settings you mean the Vegas settings I use at the start of any new project, here there are

I think I see your problem. In your project settings, your field order is set to UpperFieldFirst which is interlaced. Since your footage is apparently cell phone video, it is progressive.
To correct, change field order to Progressive. Also click on your media file properties and make sure that the field order is also set to progressive.

Looking at your screen capture, I see that you got your V17 on GETGAMEZ. Now, I’m not saying that you got a cracked version but for all others out there, a lot of the problems that you will experience with VEGAS will be directly related to a non-legit version. Not to mention the possibility of having your drive(s) corrupted.
