Vegas Pro Preview is working only sometimes?
Hello everybody.
My problem is that when i do anything on my videos (transitions or anything else…) preview works but only sometimes. For example i just edited few clips and everything was okay then after that preview just does not work and then after few minutes is start to work again.Any idea why? it is extremly annoying.
Also excuse me if i posted on wrong place, I am new here.

Which version of Vegas is this?
If the media you are editing is on a faulty external hardrive, that could be one of the culprit!Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)

Do you mean the Preview goes BLANK ( black ) or does it hang with images that don’t move?

It does not go blank. Preview picture is there but it is not moving.
When i am editing, preview works sometimes (spacebar, start button, f12) if it does not work with for example spacebar then it is not working with start button or f12…
If it works with one of those 3 options then it works with all the other options.I have been expiriencing this with Vegas Pro 15 but also in Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 14 (which i prefer more but i have the same problem in both of the editing softwares).

What viewing setting are you using in the Preview. Best ? Auto? Draft?
What are the specs of your PC system?

No matter what settings I use it’s always the same.
RAM – 8 gb
3.2GHz dualcore processor
More then 1GB of VRAM -
Any ideas guys?
I know my computer is not the best but is suitable for vegas platinum movie studio but problems in both editing softwares are literally same.
