    If you do use the multicam editing you will remember reading the warning given when you choose to “create multicamera track” is says.
    ” Some items (such as envelopes, effects, or motion) will be lost during this operation. Continue?” Yes or No

    I have used the multicam edit many times and fortunately never had any ‘loses’ as a result. However, I now see why this message is there. Because it will remove all slow motion effects, all dissolves AND the actual footage used in those effects, [replacing it with the footage from the default video track (whichever that is) using the timecode of what was there originally] from BEFORE the point where you start the multicam edit. I thought that the warning was only relevant to footage from the multicam edit point down the timeline, not retroactively.

    By luck I will usually do the multicam edit first to get the guts of the story sorted, but today was the first time I sorted the intro before.

    Hence why I use Vasst Ultimate S 4.1 Quadcam…which preserves event level FX
