vegas pro 90e installing error problems windows xp
com object failed 0fe8789d-0c47-442a-afb0-0daf97669317 media generator? so uninstalled it then reinstalled it then the wizard window pops up says could not write value to key \vegaspro90\shell\open\command verify that you have sufficient access to that key i’m lost this my first time ever seen this error please help

i have no answer, but my advice would be to definitely file a ticket with Sony, and post on sony’s forum.
This is a bug. That exact error lights up Google in every language. Its not just on installs, it has something to do with the registry key and the text generator it seems.
